Rivtaf Golf Estate in Port Harcourt is a first of its kind in the Southern part of Nigeria. It is a gated estate with 4 & 5 bedroom Terrace houses and Villas, 2 & 3 bedroom apartments. It is located in the new Port Harcourt settlement area, at the end of Peter Odili going to Abuloma road in Port Harcourt. It is on a 40 hectare piece of land. The Developer; Taf Nigeria Homes Limited, in partnership with the Rivers State Government through a Public Private Partnership initiative birthed this project. THCL which is today the largest construction company in Gambia was birthed in 1990. It succeeded because the visioner of the company is a dogged, innovative, diligent, hardworking and result oriented person. He is not cowed by any challenge whatsoever but will rather swim against the tide to ensure a problem is resolved in pursuing set goals. He positively challenges traditional ways of doing things towards improving the processes.
With these sterling qualities, Taf was able to transform THCL from a regional company to an internationally recognized construction company. Today, Taf employs over 700 people in the Gambia. He is also an unrepentant philanthropist. He encourages financially challenged but cerebrally sound pupils to achieve their academic dreams. He is partial to technically inclined student.
